Delete Your VolumeApps Account

Last Updated: August 4, 2026

This page explains how to delete your account and associated data for VolumeLogic and VolumeMacros, both apps published by Linus Westling, operating as VolumeApps. It covers deleting your whole account, deleting your data without deleting your account, what is removed, how long we keep it, and how to make a request if you can no longer access the app. It applies however you signed in, including with Google or Apple.

1. Delete your account in the app

The fastest way is directly in the app. Both apps ask you to confirm twice, including typing a confirmation word, because deletion cannot be undone.

VolumeLogic

  1. Open VolumeLogic.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm, then type the confirmation word to complete deletion.

VolumeMacros

  1. Open VolumeMacros.
  2. Go to Settings, then Privacy.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm, then type the confirmation word to complete deletion.

2. Delete your data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your account to remove your data. Both apps let you erase your training or nutrition data while keeping your account, sign-in, and subscription intact.

VolumeLogic

  1. Open VolumeLogic and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Find the Data and backup section.
  3. Tap Clear all data and confirm.

This removes your workouts, sessions, and logged training history from the device, and also clears the corresponding data synced to our servers. Your account remains active and you stay signed in.

VolumeMacros

  1. Open VolumeMacros and go to Settings, then Privacy.
  2. Use Export data first if you want a copy before erasing.
  3. Use the data wipe option and confirm.

This removes the nutrition data you created, such as logged meals, foods, and recipes. Bundled reference databases, for example the Livsmedelsverket food data shipped with the app, are kept because they are not your personal data. Your account remains active.

You can also delete individual items as you go, such as a single logged workout, session, or meal, directly in the relevant screen.

Requesting partial deletion by email

If you want us to delete a specific category of data rather than everything, email privacy@volumelogic.se with the subject line Data Deletion Request and describe what you want removed. The verification and timing described below apply equally to these requests.

3. Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, for example because you lost access to the device or to the account, email privacy@volumelogic.se with the subject line Account Deletion Request.

Please send the request from the email address registered to your account, and tell us which app the request concerns (VolumeLogic, VolumeMacros, or both). We use this to verify that the request comes from the account holder. We process verified requests as soon as reasonably practicable, typically within 48 hours of confirming your identity.

4. What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the personal data tied to that app account from our active systems, including:

Data stored only on your device is not held by us and is removed when you delete it in the app, use an in-app wipe function where available, clear the app's data in your device settings, or uninstall the app.

5. What is not deleted

6. How long it takes

If you stop using an account but never delete it, we may delete personal data after the account has been inactive, meaning no successful sign-in, for up to two (2) years.

7. Revoking Google access

If you signed in with Google and also want to remove the app's access from your Google Account, open Google Account permissions and remove VolumeApps. This is separate from deleting your VolumeApps account and does not delete your data on its own.
