VolumeLogic FAQ
Quick answers about workouts, account management, and data handling.
General
What is VolumeLogic?
VolumeLogic is an intelligent workout tracker for iOS and Android built around training volume. It logs your sets, analyzes them after each session, and adapts your next workout based on weekly volume trends and per-muscle recovery.
Where can I download the app?
You can download VolumeLogic from the App Store or Google Play.
Is VolumeLogic free to use?
Yes. VolumeLogic is free to download and free to use, with unlimited workout templates. A premium tier unlocks deeper adaptive coaching and additional analytics, but the core tracker is free forever.
Do I need an account to use VolumeLogic?
No. You can use the entire app — including templates, logging, analytics, and adaptive progression — without creating an account. An account is only needed if you want cloud sync across devices.
Are iOS and Android the same?
Yes. VolumeLogic ships the same feature set on both platforms — logging, adaptive progression, coaching volume, analytics, GPS-tracked outdoor cardio, and cloud sync.
How VolumeLogic works
How does VolumeLogic calculate training volume?
For strength work, volume = reps × weight, summed across sets, in your preferred unit (kg or lb). Cardio sessions and cardio-tagged exercises are excluded from strength-volume totals so hypertrophy tracking stays clean.
What is coaching volume?
Coaching volume is a decay-weighted score of effective sets per muscle over a rolling window. Recent sets count more than older ones, mirroring how training stimulus actually decays. Each muscle is bucketed into below maintenance, maintenance, productive, or high zones.
How does adaptive progression work?
After each session, the app analyzes per-exercise volume and RPE and updates your next prescribed sets, reps, and weight. If weekly volume rises more than 15% week over week, the next session's sets are reduced by one; if volume falls more than 15%, sets are increased by one. Muscle-load guardrails prevent adding sets when a muscle is already heavily worked.
What is the deload suggestion?
For premium users, VolumeLogic suggests a deload week with appropriate cooldowns when fatigue indicators stack up — for example after sustained high volume combined with rising RPE on key lifts.
Does VolumeLogic work offline?
Yes. VolumeLogic is local-first: every workout, set, and analytic is computed and stored on-device in SQLite. Cloud sync via Supabase is opt-in for users who want backup or multi-device access.
Account & Data
How do I delete my account and all data?
Open the app, go to Settings, tap "Delete Account", and confirm. If you cannot access the app, email privacy@volumelogic.se from your registered email address with subject Account Deletion Request. Verified requests are normally processed within 48 hours.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally on your device in SQLite. If you opt in to cloud sync, a copy is stored on EU servers via Supabase, encrypted in transit and at rest. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Where can I read legal and privacy terms?
You can review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service at any time.
